01 - 1 (3 oz) box strawberry Jello
02 - 1 (3 oz) box orange Jello
03 - 1 (3 oz) box lemon Jello
04 - 1 (3 oz) box lime Jello
05 - 1 (3 oz) box berry blue Jello
06 - 1 (3 oz) box grape Jello
07 - 6 cups boiling water
08 - 6 cups cold water

→ Topping

09 - 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
10 - Rainbow sprinkles

# How To Make:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine 1 box grape Jello with 1 cup boiling water. Stir with a whisk until the powder is fully dissolved, then add 1 cup cold water.
02 - Distribute a thin layer of the prepared purple Jello into the bottom of each of 8 clear cups, approximately 2 tablespoons per cup. Refrigerate for 30 to 40 minutes, or until fully set.
03 - Follow the same procedure with berry blue, lime, lemon, orange, and strawberry Jello, ensuring each layer is set before adding the next. Each layer will require about 30 to 40 minutes of chilling.
04 - Once the final layer has set, piped or spoon whipped cream atop each cup and sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles if desired.
05 - Keep cups refrigerated until serving for optimal texture. Present chilled.

# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • Each layer feels like a miniature celebration inside a cup.
  • You can swap flavors and colors to match any party theme or mood.
02 -
  • Don’t rush the chilling: impatience leads to muddled colors and soupy layers.
  • A thin pour along the side of the cup makes stripes sharp and defined.
03 -
  • Never mix the next Jello layer until the previous is fully set—visual checks beat the clock here.
  • Wipe the cup edge after each pour to avoid streaks between layers.
